Restoration work and contractor licensing
Annandale Water Damage Restoration answers calls, takes service requests and arranges dispatch. It does not itself extract water, dry buildings, remediate mold or perform repairs. Those services are provided by an independent local restoration company (the "partner"), usually the nearest crew available when a request comes in, which is solely responsible for its workmanship, equipment, estimates, moisture records and photographs.
Repair, removal and rebuilding work that Virginia law reserves for licensed contractors is performed under the partner's own contractor license issued by the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation, Board for Contractors, in the class the job requires. Plumbing, electrical and HVAC work requires the matching trade license. Virginia does not license mold inspection or mold remediation, and IICRC certification is voluntary. This Site and Annandale Water Damage Restoration hold no contractor license or IICRC certification and claim none.
The license number and class, IICRC certification details and proof of insurance are available on request at any time, by calling (877) 639-0209 or when the partner contacts you. They are kept off this Site to protect the partner's privacy, and any Virginia contractor license can be verified through DPOR's License Lookup. Annandale Water Damage Restoration does not prepare, file or negotiate insurance claims; in Virginia, only a licensed public adjuster may do that for a policyholder in return for payment.

Prices are estimates
Price ranges are typical estimates for our service area in 2026. They are not quotes or offers. Your price is confirmed in person before any work starts.
Safety around water damage
Standing water can hide live electrical circuits: do not walk into a flooded room until power to that area is off. Sewage and floodwater (IICRC Category 3) can carry bacteria and viruses; keep children, pets and anyone with a weak immune system away, and do not handle contaminated materials without protection. Visible mold larger than a small patch should be assessed before anyone disturbs it. When in doubt, leave the area and call a professional.
Licensing, standards and insurance
Repair and reconstruction work in Virginia is regulated by the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) Board for Contractors. The IICRC S500 (water damage) and S520 (mold remediation) standards are industry guidance, not government licenses. Insurance coverage is decided by your insurer under your policy; nothing on this Site is a promise of coverage or of a claim outcome, and information here is a summary, not legal or insurance advice.
